Liz Jones-Morden

I am a born and raised Port Perry girl.

I have worked and trained dogs for over 20 years. I have always loved animals. My childhood was spent with dogs and cats around the house and every summer I spent at Hoskin Stables grooming and riding, horses. I'm currently training my dog Cedar.

For many winters, I worked , as a dog sled guide. This is where I realized that I loved handling and working with dogs. From there I took courses through Canine Communications Studies, in dog training and behaviour. Over the years I have worked at multiple doggy daycare and training facilities before landing at the Pet Hospital on Main in Uxbridge. Where, for 9 years I was a vet assistant and receptionist.

During that time I also worked part-time as a professor in the Animal Care Program at Durham College teaching Animal Handling and Restraint. In 2007 4 on the Floor Dog Training was created and in 2016 I decided to expanded my business and we became 4 on the Floor Dog Walking and Training.

I am a Mom of 2 beautiful children and spend my weekends camping, hiking, dirt biking and skiing with my family.

I am a firm believer in continuing education, and attend as many seminars and conferences to keep myself as up to date and as current as possible.
I am currently Pet First Aid certified with Walks n Wags.
